An olive oil with a difference is now on sale in Ireland. It isn't just the fact that it is a cold pressed extra virgin oil or that it is organic and pesticide free that makes it special - although these are all important factors for lovers of olive oil. But it is because the farmers who are producing this olive oil face intimidation and death threats every time they go to tend their olive trees and especially when they try to harvest them.

And where do these olive farmers come from? The Occupied Territories of Palestine. Israeli settlers carry out attacks on the farmers often killing or seriously injuring them. The aim of the settlers is to force the farmers off the land, so that the Israeli authorities can claim the land is fallow and therefore can be used to build more illegal Israeli settlements.
